Inequalities based on lack of effective communication with the LEP community result in poor outcomes in healthcare and other essential public services. What are the
pre-requisites to take the training?

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be proficient in at least two languages. NOTE: We recommend that you have tested your language proficiency. Check the ILR scale government scale. If you score at least a 3, you can take the training!
  • Be prepared to be present during the 40 hours of the training. You need to be present the entire time to get the certificate. If you can’t make it on a specific day, please contact us as we will need to coordinate with you for a make-up date: info@equalaccesslanguageservices.com You will receive the certificate once you have completed the 40 hours.
  • Have a computer with zoom

What is your refund and credit policy?

A refund request for a training program fee must be submitted in writing to Carol Velandia, at: info@equalaccesslanguageservices.com

Refund requests submitted before one-week training registration deadline will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Refund requests submitted in the one-week period from the day of the registration deadline up until 11:59PM of the day before the training will be subject to a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the training program fee. Refunds will not be given after this deadline. Rather, a credit may be issued upon request submitted within two weeks of the first day of the training program, meaning that in the event of being unable to attend a program, a participant may submit a written request to apply that training program fee to a future program. If approved by EALS, this amount will be kept on file as a credit for up to 2 years, after which the amount will be forfeited.

What happens if the training gets cancelled due to unforeseeable circumstances?

In the event of a training program cancellation, EALS will communicate this information to training participants as quickly as possible. Training participants can either request a refund or apply the training registration fee as a credit toward a future program.

What is the cost of the training?

US$650. However we have an early bird special US$600 If you pay in advance.
